About - TD Roofing Contractors Bristol

20 Years on Bristol's Rooftops. Built on Honesty.

My name is Thomas Doherty, and I've been repairing and replacing roofs across Bristol for over 20 years.

I came over from Ireland and built this business from the ground up — one job at a time, one satisfied customer at a time. No shortcuts, no subcontractors I can't vouch for, no quoting low and hiking the price once I'm on your roof.

Just honest roofing work, done properly.

I got into roofing because I genuinely enjoy the work. There's something satisfying about stripping back a failing roof, understanding exactly what went wrong, and leaving a home properly protected for the next 30 to 50 years. Not many trades give you that kind of tangible result.

What I didn't enjoy — and what pushed me to go out on my own — was watching homeowners get taken advantage of. Storm chasers knocking doors after a gale. Quotes that doubled once the scaffold went up. Silicone slapped over leadwork and called a repair.

Bristol deserves better than that. That's why every job we do comes with a straight quote upfront, 4K drone evidence of exactly what needs doing, and a 10-year workmanship guarantee behind it.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tom and the team were absolutely fantastic. I was also very happy with the scaffolding company that they choose to often partner with Tom was very communicative throughout in terms of how the work was progressing. During the Work, we had a couple of days of bad weather that paused it, and the roof was absolutely fine during this period, showing that Tom and the team made sure that if bad weather does occur during the work, it doesn’t impact their customers. I would highly recommend TD Roofing Contractors.
